Promo art can be key into help selling your book--whether it be printed media to give away at book fairs, conventions, as a gift with special editions of your novels, or even prints to sell to your fans--if they're collectors like me, they'll want to get their hands on it all! Promotional Art is a great way to market your book online and on social media.

This kind of ties in with Promotional Art, but Character Art is a great way to showcase your characters in a visual form! This can also include character designs and sketches to help you hammer out details of your characters. It can be used for marketing and posting on social media to grab attention--let's face it, I stop scrolling when I see something pretty and eye-catching, too!

An unusual step in prepping a children's book for illustration, I cannot stress enough how important this step is. Storyboarding acts like a "guide" for the illustrator; to help plan out illustrations--whether it be spot illustrations, full pages, or spreads--so that things flow smoothly and prevent headaches later on in the process.
